Paul, that video reinforces and clarifies what I was already sensing I need to focus on now. I’m still not sure about the Internet Marketing niche… right now… for ME. I’m already in a couple of other niches I’ll be focusing on first (self-improvement and health). My problem with the IM niche is… like you said… so many people aren’t real. There are lots of phony, misleading claims about how simple it is to make money online. So when I do eventually go after this niche, my goal is to find very reputable products that actually deliver.
I love how you explain about not needing to be an expert, or even pretending to be an expert. You are so correct! A blog about my own journey and what I’m discovering (in any niche) is a great way to go.

But, I’ve just created my first video product using Camtasia – its called ‘PR5 Blog Secrets’!
Yeah, my really standard WP blog (on my own hosting) is PR5 and I used 3 really ‘ninja’ tactics! So, I am getting there.
Great to see you guys teamed up together! I remember emailing Jeff a few years ago (he was a youth pastor at the time). Is Eric a Christian too? If so, you know what? You should start an ‘Ethical Marketers’ club! Include Sean Mize and I think Chad Kimball might fit in too…!
Truth is, I am really fed up with the way some people in IM are behaving and marketing themselves! That’s why I open your emails, and a few other marketers as well. Also, I’ve bought most (all?) of your PLR stuff and I am creating a whole range of products using them. They really are top-notch. I actually wish you’d take them off the market, so they will be more exclusive…!

But you grabbed my attention, to the extent I stopped my inbox house keeping and played close attention to what you were saying. You obviously hit a nerve or two. There was only one blip (you sent an apologetic email and I accepted your apology after having promoted something, shall I say, that was less then stellar) which just proves to me that you are a real guy and are seriously looking out for your followers/subscribers well being.
I must say that you, Jeff and Eric are, without doubt, some of the the finest teachers of I.M. material on the ‘Net.

I APPRECIATE YOUR HONESTY, NOT TO MANY PEOPLE GIVE YOU THE RIGHT HEADS UP .I NEED THIS REAL BAD BECAUSE I CAN’T WORK OUTSIDE THE HOME BECAUSE OF MY HEALTH. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE TRIED MANY THINGS OUT, BUT THERE IS ALWAYS AN UNEXPECTED AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT WE HAVE TO PAY AFTER THEY SAID IT WAS FREE. WHY CAN’T PEOPLE LET YOU KNOW UP FRONT WHAT THE WHOLE PROGRAM COST?
Thank god this is not another “Push Button Traffic Software” course including auto website builders and anything that promises an easy solution.
This course is perfect for me because I want to create a membership site with a front end high value product that affiliates would love to promote. I already have a PLR sales website which looks good but will never bring in much revenue due to content being just average. So I can only price it at $7 to $19 range instead of in the $35 to $49 range, you know what I mean?
If I take the best PLR books/videos out there, it still will look unprofessional or outdated to many affiliates/JV’s so I want to rewrite it in my own personality and change the graphics to match the 2011 modern theme of my niche.
Well, it’s about time that someone stepped out and started telling it like it is. When you first come on line you know that you need training, but who to trust and what sorts of things are actually working is a mystery. After you’ve been to several webinars and bought some of the training that’s being offered you get a good sense of who is genuine and who isn’t. The one thing that you can absolutely control is who you learn from. Eric I know of and Paul I know of and have a level of trust for their instruction. Besides, this was introduced to me by someone else that I trust, Bob Yeager. Thanks guys !!
